About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Specialist to join our team at Avature. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading major EPC contracts from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence;
- Lead and develop a team of project managers, engineers, and cost control specialists;
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution;
- Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, and budgets;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience;
- Membership in a Professional Engineering association, or equivalent experience;
- Training or seminars in project management and contract management, or relevant experience;
- 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the mining or mineral processing industry;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6;
