About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Specialist to join our team at Avature. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading major EPC contracts from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence;
  • Lead and develop a team of project managers, engineers, and cost control specialists;
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution;
  • Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, and budgets;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience;
  • Membership in a Professional Engineering association, or equivalent experience;
  • Training or seminars in project management and contract management, or relevant experience;
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the mining or mineral processing industry;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6;
