Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at McGowan - Private Household. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes.
About the RoleAs a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. You will also provide emotional support and companionship to help clients maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, as needed
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field
- Degree in a related field (not required)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
This is a full-time position working approximately 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to this schedule and be available to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is between $$$22-$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid time off, access to training and development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
