Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Lullaboo Nursery and Child Care Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute activities, share knowledge, and provide support to ensure the highest quality care for children.
  • Child Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identify potential learning or behavioral issues, and maintain accurate records to inform parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Health and Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to licensing regulations and ensuring the well-being of children.
  • Communication and Relationships: Foster strong relationships with parents, guardians, and community service providers, maintaining open and transparent communication.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications and Memberships: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and other relevant certifications.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
