Carpentry Supervisor Job Description

At Green Island Builders, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Supervisor to join our team. As a Carpentry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of residential and commercial projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpentry teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of carpentry team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry, with a strong background in supervisory roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading carpentry teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
