Job Title: Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at JSD Homes And Woodworks Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist with landscape constructions, cut grass, rake and collect refuse, lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, and apply fertilizers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers.
  • Cut and maintain grass and other vegetation.
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and debris.
  • Lay sod or seed to maintain lawns and gardens.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the appearance of outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers and trimmers.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and physical stamina to perform manual labour.
  • Ability to work in various locations, including outdoors.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of outdoor settings, including parks, gardens, and construction sites. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
