Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced childcare provider to join our team at Private Households. As a nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to children in a residential setting.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Development: Assist children with their educational and personal development, including homework help and social skills training.
  • Household Management: Take charge of household responsibilities, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
  • Child Safety and Well-being: Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of children, including administering first aid and providing emotional support.
  • Transportation and Errands: Transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities, as well as run errands as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Possess a valid CPR certificate and have experience working with children.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Be available to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate changing schedules.
Work Environment

As a nanny with Private Households, you will work in a non-smoking environment, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Public transportation is available, and the work term is temporary.
