About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Process Lead to join our team in Brockville, Ontario. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for promoting a continuous improvement mindset and implementing lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute process improvement projects to drive business growth and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategic plans to achieve them.
  • Maintain and improve line efficiencies by working closely with the maintenance lead and business unit leader.
  • Manage change by implementing new methods and processes, and organizing prevention activities to raise awareness of value-added production concepts.
  • Analyze waste causes and suggest improvements to optimize production processes.
  • Plan and organize various improvement programs, including H&S, TPM, 6S, Six Sigma, and Ishikawa diagrams.
  • Participate in daily meetings and document processes, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Define standard processes and tools to manage centerlines and accelerate RCO (Rapid Change Over).
  • Support the Production Manager in fulfilling mandates to meet overall business objectives.
  • Recommend system solutions, troubleshoot, and modify existing equipment to improve line operations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience with Lean approaches and tools; Lean certification is considered an asset.
  • Completed education in Operations Management or Engineering field, or Bachelor's degree or technologist diploma plus relevant experience.
  • Strong people management skills, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented and ability to motivate teams to perform at high levels.
