We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at AVELINO BONDAD. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, urban area, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience an asset.
  • Permanent position, 30 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
