Feeder On-Road Supervisor

Job Summary:

As a Feeder On-Road Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day dispatch and scheduling of delivery and pickup routes. You will supervise, hire, train, recognize, and discipline staff engaged in courier operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a stable workforce
  • Hire, train, motivate, recognize, and discipline staff as required
  • Develop and enhance safety, quality, service, and production programs
  • Analyze employee and customer-related surveys to continuously improve relationships
  • Report on and account for all aspects of the operation
  • Maintain an effective administrative system, including vacations, audits, employee records, and files
  • Investigate and report all injuries and auto accidents
  • Comply with all federally regulated health and safety and Labour Canada guidelines
  • Develop initiatives to reduce overall centre costs and increase revenue and production

Requirements:

  • Conditions to obtain a Class 1 licence
  • Have fewer than 4 demerit points entered on your driving record
  • Not have had your driver's licence suspended or revoked during the two previous years as the result of accumulating demerit points or a Criminal Code offence
  • Pass the SAAQ's vision test
  • Submit a satisfactory medical report
  • Pass the knowledge test
  • Pass the 2 road tests
  • Must have had a driver's license for the past 5 years
  • Must be able to travel to USA (passport/visa)
