Main Duties

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Cleaner to join our team at Crystal Clean Maintenance Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting high-traffic areas and washrooms, as well as other areas as requested by the customer.
  • Replenishing supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and other areas.
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Emptying trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas.
  • Using an auto scrubber.

This is a part-time position, working Wednesdays and Sundays for 1 hour each day.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, with physical demands including walking, standing, bending, and crouching.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be:

  • Legally able to obtain employment in Canada without sponsorship.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
  • Friendly and professional in your interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • Able to work successfully alone or in a team-oriented environment.
  • Desire to learn, seek new challenges, and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Reasoning ability and good common sense to solve practical problems.
  • Able to identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to your supervisor.
  • Compliant with all safety policies and procedures relating to the performance of tasks, use of products or supplies, and incident reporting.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow directions.
