Job Title: Clinical Nurse Educator

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Regina General Hospital.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide education, research, and quality client-centered care for a defined group of clients and programs. This role requires a strong understanding of the Health Services model of care and principles of adult learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess learning needs of staff and plan, implement, and evaluate education activities/programs.
  • Provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of client-centered care through identified education programming.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement education programs that meet the needs of staff and clients.
  • Use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to healthcare professionals as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
  • Minimum of three years of experience related to the clinical area within the past five years, and one year of previous experience in adult education.
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) and Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
