Strategic Leadership Role for Career Colleges Division

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for Career Colleges division that aligns with the College's mission and goals.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to drive growth and innovation.
  • Ensure program mix is suited to various markets served by the Career College.
  • Provide thought leadership in the field of career-focused education.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the Career Colleges division, ensuring delivery of high-quality education and services during the student lifecycle.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess and improve divisional performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with professional associations and industry partners.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of academic and administrative professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and mentor team members to ensure their professional growth and success.

Academic Excellence:

  • Ensure that the curriculum and programs offered by the Career Colleges meet or exceed industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Foster a culture of academic excellence and innovation, promoting student success and retention.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the budget for the Career Colleges division, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  • Identify opportunities to generate revenue and manage resources efficiently.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, industry partners, and accrediting bodies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders and employers.

Reporting and Accountability:

  • Attend scheduled meetings with the President and Executive Team.
  • Provide periodic reports, budgets, and performance reviews to the President as required.

Education and Programs:

  • Assess the educational needs of the College and devise appropriate programs and services to meet these needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate academic programs and student services to enhance student learning and staff motivation.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President or other senior management.

Requirements:

  • University degree in business or management or similar, along with a track record of educational leadership.
  • 10+ years of senior executive leadership experience.
  • Strong business acumen, budget planning, and management skills.
  • Proven track record in developing industry, government, and community partnerships.
