Strategic Leadership Role for Career Colleges Division
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for Career Colleges division that aligns with the College's mission and goals.
- Identify market trends and opportunities to drive growth and innovation.
- Ensure program mix is suited to various markets served by the Career College.
- Provide thought leadership in the field of career-focused education.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the Career Colleges division, ensuring delivery of high-quality education and services during the student lifecycle.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess and improve divisional performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with professional associations and industry partners.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of academic and administrative professionals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and mentor team members to ensure their professional growth and success.
Academic Excellence:
- Ensure that the curriculum and programs offered by the Career Colleges meet or exceed industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Foster a culture of academic excellence and innovation, promoting student success and retention.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for the Career Colleges division, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
- Identify opportunities to generate revenue and manage resources efficiently.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, industry partners, and accrediting bodies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders and employers.
Reporting and Accountability:
- Attend scheduled meetings with the President and Executive Team.
- Provide periodic reports, budgets, and performance reviews to the President as required.
Education and Programs:
- Assess the educational needs of the College and devise appropriate programs and services to meet these needs.
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate academic programs and student services to enhance student learning and staff motivation.
Other Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President or other senior management.
Requirements:
- University degree in business or management or similar, along with a track record of educational leadership.
- 10+ years of senior executive leadership experience.
- Strong business acumen, budget planning, and management skills.
- Proven track record in developing industry, government, and community partnerships.
