Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Coordinate and schedule activities, including material deliveries, equipment setup, and labor allocation.
- Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including production, quality, and safety metrics.
- Recruit, train, and develop construction staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of project documentation, including blueprints, permits, and certifications.
- 1-2 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
This is a full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a noisy and dusty construction environment, with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
