Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at Bernard Nickels & Associates. The successful candidate will have expertise in project scheduling, risk analysis, and document control.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong background in Primavera P6, with experience in utility or energy-related projects, preferably Transmission and Distribution.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for large Transmission and Distribution projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and define milestones, critical paths, and dependencies.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular schedule updates, identifying potential delays and proposing corrective actions.
• Develop and implement standardized scheduling and project management processes to enhance project execution and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with project controls standards, best practices, and internal processes.

Risk Analysis and Mitigation:
• Work closely with project teams to identify potential project risks, including schedule delays, resource constraints, and external factors impacting project timelines.
• Use risk management tools and techniques to assess, document, and mitigate project risks.
• Update the schedule regularly to reflect changes in risk factors and their impact on project timelines.

Document Control Management:
• Oversee and manage project documentation throughout the lifecycle of the project, ensuring all documents are filed, tracked, and easily accessible.
• Utilize Procore or similar document control systems to track project documentation such as RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, change orders, and project correspondence.
• Ensure proper version control of documents and facilitate efficient document exchange between project stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in scheduling, with a strong background in Primavera P6, specifically in utility or energy-related projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk management, process management, and document control practices.
• Experience with Procore or similar document management software is a significant advantage.

Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
