Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at National Crane Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience driving lighter, special purpose trucks and have a strong understanding of mountain driving expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
  • Mountain driving expertise
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment

The work environment will be dusty, and the candidate will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a team environment.
