Job Summary:

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline our development process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and automation
  • Proficiency in Python, Linux, and cloud-based technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
