Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Line Leak Repair Specialist to join our team at Red Flame Industries. As a key member of our mechanical service line, you will play a critical role in repairing process leaks on live operating systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' facilities.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $45-$55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in leak repair and possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, processes, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform site assessments, walkdowns, and measure-ups to identify and prioritize leak repair tasks
  • Create project-specific Field Level Hazard Risk Assessments, Near Miss, Hazard ID, etc.
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) with technicians on-site prior to work
  • Receive and review site permits, reviewing them with technician(s)
  • Complete daily Labour, Equipment, Material (LEM) records, ensuring accurate tracking of equipment, material, labour, and expenses
  • Maintain and use project equipment according to OEM specifications and Innovator procedures
  • Execute work as per procedure, contacting Supervisor/Manager if procedure cannot be followed for any reason
  • Report all near misses, incidents, etc., and participate in investigations under Management supervision
  • Follow project execution plans
  • Complete execution paperwork diligently and neatly (e.g., Mob checklists, ITPs, Field Reports, etc.)
  • Log daily operations for each shift, paying particular attention to delays and events impacting Innovator productivity
  • Mentor/train technicians, signing off on technician qualifications
  • Work with Operations Coordinators to build proposals
  • Maintain first-class client relationships and customer satisfaction
