BROOKRIDGE CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANTS INC is seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, keeping financial records, and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will also prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports, as well as income tax returns from accounting records. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Working Conditions:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Permanent position
