Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our healthcare team at Plan A Kamloops/British Columbia. This position offers opportunities in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings, with locations available in Kelowna and West Kelowna. We are currently looking to fill a line with 8-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, utilizing a trauma-informed and patient-centered approach. This includes administering medications and treatments as prescribed, leading training/counseling groups, and collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a valid LPN license with BCCNM and meet other qualifications outlined below. We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and an excellent benefits package.
- Estimated Salary: $45-$60 per hour
- Valid LPN license with BCCNM required
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Adults Sector
- CPR Level C certification
