Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at CAN-Truck 2009 Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with truck systems and components
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and supervisors
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in the transportation equipment repair industry is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a garage environment with frequent exposure to noise and heavy machinery. The position requires standing for extended periods and manual dexterity.
