Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a variety of breathing-related problems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of care and delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Additional formal educational requirements/certifications as required in department.
- Membership in professional association specific to nursing service area.
- Computer literacy in current software applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to the professional growth and development of self and others.
- Demonstrated commitment to the concepts of Continuous Quality Improvement and Customer Service.
- Ability to function independently within the scope of practice.
- Sound problem-solving, communication (oral and written), conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Sound knowledge of nursing process and responsibilities of profession.
- Ability to learn about, from, and with other members of the patient care team to foster a strong Interprofessional model of care.
