Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at HealthVenture Staffing Ltd. in a nursing care setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to patients in a nursing home environment, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Perform personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to maintain patients' dignity and comfort
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of belonging and connection
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in nursing care and support
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
Work Environment:
