Medical Caregiver

About the Role:

Résidence Aux Douces Marées inc. is seeking a Medical Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse
  • Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines
  • Bathe, dress and groom patients
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Produce reports
  • Administer medications
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Child welfare check
Work Environment:
  • Nursing home/home for the aged
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer
  • Travel expenses not paid by employer
