About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Student Optician. In this role, you will work closely with our Licensed/Registered Optician(s), store partners, optometrist(s), store manager, contact lens practitioner, and eye care consultant(s) to achieve the store's objectives and build customer/patient loyalty.
You will be engaging with our patients and customers, discovering or reemphasizing their eyewear needs, educating them on products, walking them through the process of frame selection, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality services and eyewear.
Key Responsibilities- Under the supervision and delegation of a Licensed/Registered Optician, ensure that customers receive guidance with frame selection and a clear understanding of our frame and lens product options.
- Carry out dispensing measurements accurately, using our digital measuring tool, to ensure proper function, comfort, and fit of the glasses.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and final inspections in-store to ensure that the product we deliver meets the required specifications.
- Carry out the eyewear collection procedure accurately and efficiently, using best practice to ensure we deliver a positive and memorable experience for our customers.
- Knowledge of optical theory and technical skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and computer skills.
