About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Release Deployment Expert to join our team at Interac. As a key member of our AppOps team, you will be responsible for driving application and platform insights and working closely with technical teams to deliver and maintain cutting-edge payment solutions to our customers.

This role involves developing, enhancing, tuning, and supporting Interac's high-performance payment systems. You will proactively diagnose, resolve, and mitigate application problems and ensure optimal performance and availability of National payment systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in build integration, testing, and automation strategies, as well as a good understanding of different types of open-source packages. They should also have experience with Monitoring, logging, and tools such as Azure Monitor, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, tune, and support Interac's high-performance payment systems.
  • Proactively diagnose, resolve, and mitigate application problems.
  • Ensure optimal performance and availability of National payment systems.
  • Drive application and platform insights and work closely with technical teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Expertise in using version control systems, such as Git, for managing codebases and collaboration.
  • Experience with CI/CD Automation and Kubernetes/containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to seamlessly communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
