Cedar Falafel & Shawarma is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Food Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
