About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 14214757 Canada Inc. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance sheets, and other accounting reports.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, reliability, and adaptability.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
