Job Opportunity:

Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Speech-language Pathologist for a Term Specific Part Time position in our Early Childhood Development team at Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre.

About the Role:

The Early Childhood Development Speech-language Pathologist will work with children from birth-to-school entry from diverse cultural backgrounds and their parents/caregivers. The role involves screening, assessment, intervention, coaching, and education in all areas of speech, language, and communication. Collaboration with professionals from various organizations, including the Ministry of Children & Family Development and the Ministry of Education, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in screening, assessment, intervention, coaching, and education for children and their families
• Collaborate with other professionals in the community and the Ministry of Children & Family Development and the Ministry of Education
• Develop and implement individualized plans for children and their families
