CNT construction. LTD is seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team. As a Construction Trades Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Pave and rake asphalt, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, adhering to environmental regulations.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the public.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a strong focus on reliability and dependability.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and locations.

  • Work site environment: outdoors, dusty.
  • Work setting: urban area, various locations, construction site.
