Job Summary

Vancouver Northern Food Inc is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Labourer to join our team in a fast-paced food processing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials safely and efficiently.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
  • Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers.
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Feed and unload processing machines, and check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, and clean machines and immediate work areas.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a hot and cold/refrigerated environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
  • Reliability and team player skills required.
Work Environment

Our food processing plant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on food safety and quality. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.

Language and Hours

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace, and we require a 40-hour workweek.
