About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver precise and accurate treatments to patients.
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to ensure they understand their treatment options and can make informed decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Experience working in a radiation therapy department, preferably in a hospital or medical facility setting.
