Retail Store Manager

Discounted Liquor Wagon LTD. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and assign tasks to sales staff to ensure optimal store performance.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales staff.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering and receipt of merchandise to meet customer demand.
- Authorize Returns: Process returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales of merchandise.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate and organized inventory levels.
- Supervise Staff: Provide guidance and support to sales staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, organized, reliable, and a team player.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
