Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team at Durock Alfacing International Limited. This is a permanent position with an estimated salary of $65,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in developing engineering specifications and drawings, participating in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations, and preparing construction specifications, costs and material estimates. They will also provide technical and professional advice, as well as prepare engineering technical reports or other documents.

This role requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as experience working in a team environment. A civil engineering background, with experience in buildings and structures, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop engineering specifications and drawings;
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations;
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates;
  • Provide technical and professional advice;
  • Prepare engineering technical reports or other documents.
Requirements
  • Civil engineering degree or diploma;
  • Experience in buildings and structures;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
