Job Description:

As a Medical Receptionist - Front Desk Coordinator at Colorado In Motion, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include managing front desk duties, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients warmly and check them in/out for appointments according to company policies and procedures.
  • Answer phones pleasantly and direct patients to the appropriate area or person.
  • Accurately register patients and create accounts within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently for both new and existing patients.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks, such as preparing patient charts/documents, insurance verifications, authorizations, data entry, and payment collection.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills and maintain HIPAA Compliance.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic office support skills (telephone, filing, data entry) is essential.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, pleasant personality, and exceptional customer service skills are a must.
  • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with others.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not required.
