We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Ontario Inc. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble: Use precision tools to measure, cut, and shape materials for construction projects.
  • Build Foundations and Install Floor Beams: Construct sturdy foundations and install floor beams to ensure a stable structure.
  • Schedule and Coordinate Work: Plan and manage work schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Train and Mentor: Instruct apprentices in the art of carpentry.
  • Estimate and Manage Materials: Accurately estimate material costs and manage inventory to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Maintain and Repair Structures: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial structures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Setting: Construction sites.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, reliable, and a team player.
