About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at NAWABZ EXPERIENCE INC. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing various events, conferences, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and plan events, conferences, and meetings from start to finish, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and logistics.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Financial Management: Assist in preparing and managing event budgets, including revenue and expenditure tracking.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure event safety and security.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute marketing and promotion strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate and manage event logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and catering.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage event staff and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in event planning, conference coordination, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Availability: Willing to travel and work on-site as required.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and overtime required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a variety of settings, including on-site events and conferences.
