Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Pancakes is seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Take customers' orders
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Support for newcomers and refugees
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Support for Indigenous people
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers

Working Conditions: Permanent position, 35 hours per week, English language, and a dynamic work environment.
