Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

At Magnolia Fine Homes Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in residential construction, with a focus on poured concrete and various construction settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance work and remove rubble and debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate

Work Environment:

  • Varies, with potential to work at heights, outdoors, and in noisy, dusty environments
Additional Information:

Must be willing to travel regularly and possess a valid driver's licence. A criminal record check and driving record check may be required.
