About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at First Student. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and school staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with other transportation staff to ensure smooth and efficient route operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as safety procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- At least 21 years old.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
