Supervisor, Bookkeepers and Accounting Clerks

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeping and Accounting Supervisor to join our team at D&V Mobile Auto Repair Inc. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our bookkeeping and accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing guidance and support to our accounting staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our bookkeeping and accounting staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting functions.
- Provide training and guidance to our accounting staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with our management team to develop and implement financial plans and strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and other financial obligations.
- Manage and maintain our accounting software and systems, ensuring that they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 5-10 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including Tally ERP, MS Excel, and Simply Accounting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Physical demands of the job include sitting for long periods, using a computer, and performing other tasks that require manual dexterity.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and multiple priorities. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
