Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Meridian Inn & Suites Ltd. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain accurate records.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist guests with special needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
