About the JobWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced automotive technician who can handle complex tasks and responsibilities related to commercial transport trucks. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with these vehicles, ensuring they are roadworthy and safe for operation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engine repair, electrical systems, and diagnostics. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to resolve technical issues.
Responsibilities- Diagnostics: Use advanced tools and techniques to identify and diagnose mechanical issues with commercial transport trucks.
- Repair and maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other critical systems.
- Quality control: Ensure all work meets high standards of quality and safety.
- Communication: Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to communicate technical information and resolve issues.
- Trade certification: Hold a valid trade certification as an automotive service technician.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience working on commercial transport trucks.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of engine repair, electrical systems, and diagnostics; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
