Cashier - Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at BAZAAR365. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer payments in the form of cash, credit/debit cards, and cheques.
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating the POS system.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.
