Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at CRAFTED1885. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and other food service operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk
  • Attention to detail, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
