About the Role

This is a permanent position with an estimated salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Professionalism in Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Loading and Unloading Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that they are properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Pre-Trip, En-Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy, en-route inspections to monitor the vehicle's condition, and post-trip inspections to identify any issues.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate tracking and compliance with regulations.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by using tarps and following established protocols.
