Process Engineering Analyst Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented individual who excels in a collaborative environment?

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineering Analyst to join our team at Best Buy. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting process and data analysis on assigned projects, collaborating with stakeholders to collect project requirements, and developing process maps.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and analysts, applying Lean Six Sigma principles to identify optimization and continuous improvement opportunities in existing business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify optimization and continuous improvement opportunities in existing business processes.
  • Gather project requirements by working with members of the engineering team and stakeholders.
  • Perform detailed data analysis on performance metrics across the distribution center.
  • Support major project planning and implementation initiatives.
  • Develop forecasting models for processed data.
  • Perform quantitative simulation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience in process engineering.
  • Experience with data analytics tools like SQL (PL/SQL), VBA, and proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), Statistics, MS Visio.
  • Prior experience working cross-functionally in an agile environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD are a bonus.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certification in Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt is a bonus.
