Recruitment Specialist

Employment and Social Development Canada is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
Responsibilities:- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements
- Collect and screen applicants
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
- Review candidate inventories
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
- Recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
- Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
- Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Human resources software
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver's licence
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Ability to multitask
