Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Grocery Store Assistant to join our team at TASTE OF HOMELAND EASTERN EUROPEAN AND ISRAELI KOSHER GROCERY STORE. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting our sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Support sales efforts by processing transactions, handling customer returns, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
