The Opportunity

As a Financial Accountant, you'll report to the Senior Manager-Finance Business Partner and execute operational period-end finance activities. You'll provide analytical support for the GT&K business, including time data management, recharge of global and member firms' costs, review and coding of member firms' invoices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage FTE Time Allocations and Report Preparation/Distribution to various business stakeholders. Liaise with member firms on time report data.
  • Period-end close journals, accruals, and adjustments for the GT&K function.
  • Recharges for Member Firm and Global Business Units.
  • Resolve Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable issues, with escalation to direct Manager.
  • Provide support to the Global Finance Partner, with ad hoc projects, controlling, and/or analytical tasks.
  • Utilize financial systems (BOARD, SAP, COUPA, Commit) for data analysis.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on finance matters.
  • Collaborate with offshore controllers to execute financial period-end close activities (AR and AP).
Requirements
  • Approximately 2 years' accounting experience, preferably in a large, multinational, professional services environment.
  • Some experience with internal controls, accounting best practices, business analysis, and ERP system optimization.
  • Proficiency in Excel and voluminous data management/handling.
  • At a minimum, an undergraduate degree in business or finance.
  • Other comparable accounting qualification or relevant experience.
