Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Work in a fast-paced, complex environment with a high volume of patients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with our Critical Care Response Team and Critical Care Transport Team to provide advanced care to critically ill patients
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies
Requirements
  • Current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in good standing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and certification
  • Minimum of 1 year Previous Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 1 year Previous Acute Care Setting experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Preference to candidates with current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Care for Nurses or Trauma Nursing Care course (TNCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS)
